New Balance Tekela Elite V5 MG Football Boots (Black/Punch Yellow/Fire Cracker)
Crafted for total control, the Tekela V5 puts you in charge of the game, offering the dynamic touch you need to dictate the play. The lightweight microfibre upper features deboss channels alongside nano-printed silicone grip elements, enabling precise manipulation of the ball while allowing your feet to flex naturally as you move. At the ankle, the stretchy knitted collar provides a compressive fit for secure lockdown, while the midfoot section of the collar is slightly offset to relieve pressure on the nerves at the top of the foot. The MG edition’s equipped with New Balance’s new multi-ground soleplate, which features half-moon studs around the ball of the foot for improved rotational traction. The midfoot shank’s slightly narrower too, enhancing comfort and reducing break-in time while retaining stability. Inside the boot, an Ortholite sockliner cushions ground impacts as you step away from opponents to play the decisive pass. As you can tell, NB have well and truly been in the lab for the Tekela V5, and that extends to sustainability too. The upper on every model of the boot incorporates recycled content, part of the brand’s commitment to a healthier planet.
