I can get it cheaper from an overseas website. Why should I order from you?
We're proudly New Zealand-owned and operated. That means we do have to charge you GST. But remember, the GST doesn't go into our pockets - we pass this on to the government to pay for things like schools, roads and hospitals. By buying from us, you could even say you're supporting the country! And everyone likes a bit of patriotism!
We also have pretty generous policies for returns, exchanges and fixing faulty goods. And of course, New Zealand law the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 might apply too. Even if you found an overseas outfit willing to offer you the same terms, the fact we're in the same country as you makes returns one heck of a lot more practical.

I want to purchase an item but it is currently showing as out of stock?
If an item is not available you will be notified by email and given the option to back-order the item or change your order. If you do not wish to back-order or select an alternative product, you will receive a refund within 7 days of your original transaction.

I need a lot of gear for my club/school/business. Can you help?
Yes! Our sister business, Sportworx provides this very service. Sportworx mainly services sports clubs, schools and corporate customers.
Sportworx is your one-stop-shop for all sports apparel and equipment. We specialise in sourcing and supplying high quality team apparel and sports equipment products that are fit for purpose. What that means in practice is you tell us what you'd like, and we'll do the work of sourcing, customising and supplying for you. You'll never have to deal with separate suppliers, printers, embroiderers, customs agents or couriers ever again!

Are my personal details secure?
Football Central uses secure server software provided by online e-commerce titan, Shopify. All information including your name, address and credit card number are encrypted for your protection. All information remains confidential. Football Central will not sell or distribute customer information to any third party or organisation.

What payment options do you accept?
We accept Visa and MasterCard via our secure online payment gateway. Credit cards are verified for your protection. Alternatively, you can pay via direct bank transfer (internet banking). Please note, goods will not be dispatched until funds have been cleared via internet banking.
What currency am I paying in?
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST (unless otherwise expressly stated). Prices are subject to change without notice.
NAMING AND NUMBERING
I want my name/number/some other customisation. Can you help?
Almost certainly. We’ll happily name and number any football apparel you buy for us. If you want enough for a team, we are able to embroider, screen print and sublimate almost whatever you want on whatever you want. We even employ an in-house designer who will make sure that everything looks as it should.
I’ve got a really long name. How much will it cost to name and number my shirt?
We charge a flat rate for names and numbers, regardless of how many letters and accents (but too many letters will need either a very large shirt or a very small font). You can see our current rates for names and numbers by adding a customisation as part of the add to cart process (note that prices vary depending on the type of naming and numbering you pick).
For anything more complicated, the answer is almost certainly "it depends". There are a range of factors including size, colour and complexity of the customisation. And for embroidery, believe it or not, we even count the number of stitches. But we will have a chat about your options before you commit to your order.
How long will it take?
Sorry, another one of those "it depends" answers. Standard customisations are usually turned around within 10 business days plus standard shipping time. Get in touch with us if you need something urgently.
Where do you ship to?
We’ve worked pretty hard on opening up our historic shipping restrictions to now include New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
How much is shipping?
For standard orders under $100, our rates are the following (plus GST):
North Island: $7.90
South Island: $9.90
Rural Areas: An additional $5 will be added to relevant region rate
For standard orders over $100, shipping is free within the confines of New Zealand. Australia has flat rate $25 shipping fee using an ‘E-Post’ service. Shipping to the UK starts at $45 using a traceable courier service. Shipping to regions in Asia starts at $35.
What does a “standard order” mean?
Pretty much anything you can buy on our website is a standard order. We can supply some fairly outlandish stuff though. For outsize or extremely heavy orders (say, some solid steel goalposts), we will provide you a shipping estimate prior to finalising your order.
It's not what I expected/it doesn't fit/I don't like the colour. Can I return it?
Shucks! Don’t worry though, we have a full refund or exchange return policy on items purchased online. Please note you cannot return an item if:
• The items that are on sale (e.g. purchased from the ‘hot deals’ section).
• The items that have been personalised (e.g. custom name and number printing).
• The items that have been worn or the original tags and packaging removed.
So if your product is still in its original state, we'll take it back and refund or exchange it for something else within 30 days of the purchase date, no questions asked.

My product is faulty. Can I return it?
If something is faulty with your product, of course we'll take it back and put it right. Even if it is emblazoned with your delightfully whimsical nickname. Talk to us first if you’ve got grass stains and/or beer on it.
You will need to arrange and pay for your own shipping back to Football Central.
